Kiri

Founder
I am the founder and owner of Imagine... Creative Early Years Nursery, bringing over 20 years of experience in the early years sector. I am passionate about ensuring every child receives the very best start in life and believe that exceptional early education, strong partnerships with families and inspirational leadership enable children to thrive, develop confidence and reach their full potential.

My journey began in 2009, when I established Imagine... as a training and consultancy business dedicated to supporting early years professionals to deliver outstanding practice. Building on this success, I opened Imagine... Creative Early Years Nursery in 2010, creating a nurturing, ambitious and child-centred environment where children can belong, achieve and flourish.

For over 15 years, the nursery has consistently maintained the highest standards of early years education and care, achieving Ofsted Outstanding across five consecutive inspections. This sustained success reflects our unwavering commitment to excellence, continuous improvement and delivering exceptional outcomes for children and their families.

Throughout my career, I have successfully led and managed high-performing teams, embedding a culture of reflection, innovation and continuous improvement. I work closely with parents and carers, recognising that meaningful relationships are at the heart of children's learning, wellbeing and future success.

Alongside leading the nursery, I have worked extensively across the early years sector as an early years education, leadership and quality improvement specialist, supporting leaders, practitioners and providers to strengthen practice, develop effective leadership and improve outcomes for children. I have delivered training, mentoring and professional support to a wide range of early years settings, helping teams build confidence, embed high-quality practice and create inspiring learning environments.

I continue to work collaboratively with education professionals, local authorities, partner organisations and early years providers to raise standards, improve quality and make a lasting difference to the lives of young children and their families. My expertise includes leadership and management, safeguarding, curriculum development, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, workforce development and supporting settings on their journey towards excellence.

Everything I do is driven by one simple belief: every child deserves the very best start in life. Whether supporting families, developing practitioners or leading high-quality provision, my goal is to create environments where children feel safe, valued, inspired and empowered to reach their fullest potential.

Baljit is an experienced early years educator and leader with many years of experience working alongside children, families and educators. She is passionate about creating inspiring learning environments where children feel curious, confident and deeply engaged in their play. She believes that beautiful, thoughtfully designed spaces and carefully chosen materials encourage children to explore, wonder, create and develop a lifelong love of learning. Every environment is created with intention, offering children opportunities to investigate, imagine, solve problems and express themselves in meaningful ways. At the heart of Baljit's approach is a simple belief - every child deserves to learn in an environment that is rich in possibility, where curiosity is valued, relationships are nurtured and childhood is celebrated. She hopes that every family who walks through the door feels the warmth, care and creativity that make the nursery such a special place to grow and learn.

Our team at Imagine… Creative Early Years is made up of experienced, highly qualified Early Years practitioners who are passionate about supporting children’s growth and development.
